Our Relationship with Biogénique Inc.

Fondation Biogénique was founded with support from Biogénique Inc., a Montréal-based wellness and natural health products company. That relationship is deliberately structured at arm’s length, and this page explains exactly how.

Independent governance

The Foundation is governed by its own volunteer board of directors, not by Biogénique Inc.’s leadership. Board decisions — including anything involving the founding partner — go through the same conflict-of-interest and approval process as any other matter. Research ownership transfer

All clinical, nutritional and formulation research that Biogénique Inc. conducts or commissions is formally assigned to the Foundation. We become the legal owner and custodian of that research — not merely a reviewer of it. Biogénique Inc. licenses findings back on a non-exclusive basis for legitimate product use, but no longer owns or controls the underlying data.

The independent review seal

Before Biogénique Inc. publishes a claim about its research or products, our research team — independent of Biogénique’s own staff — checks it against the research we own. How funding works

Biogénique Inc.’s annual research commitment is a fixed, board-approved sum restricted to research and education — it cannot be redirected to general operations or marketing, and it’s released against milestones rather than as a single transfer. It is disclosed in our transparency reporting alongside every other revenue source.
